Led by Director Mary Beth Courier, the firm has completed projects throughout the US. The belief that the spaces in which we live, work and play shape our lives, is the foundation in which each project builds upon. From large scale public environments to the sofa in one’s home, good design makes a difference, it inspires, comforts and changes people. We value humility and collaboration, believing that collective efforts, incites creativity and innovation. These beliefs inform the paired down, timeless spaces that the firm is known for.

Mary Beth Courier is the founder of Courier Design Studio. She began her career in TV, earning her BA in Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida, where she learned the necessity of clear and truthful expression. Later, working in television production, first for MTV in New York, the Turner Network in Atlanta, and NBC at the Athens Olympic Games, she gained a facility for bringing together many elements to tell a story. This interest in storytelling helped form her design aesthetic and is an ongoing source of inspiration. She began her interior design career at the Oxford Exchange leading the design and restoration of the 1890's building and then founding and co-owning Oxford Design Studio. Following her desire to start her own firm, Mary Beth founded Courier Design Studio, a multi disciplinary firm that focuses on comprehensive interior solutions, creative problem-solving and service to produce original, inspired and functional spaces.
Mary Beth holds a Masters of Fine Art in Interior Design focusing on Sustainability from Florida State University. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, a LEED AP and a Licensed Interior Designer (ID 6380).
